Avon Lake head coach Jeff Stratton nominated Mark Spring. Mark pitched a 1-hitter against Berea. Spring has not allowed an earned run so far this season.

Keystone head coach Mark Clement nominated senior Mike Cordy. Mike was 6 for 13 with two home runs, two doubles and seven RBI.

Norwalk head coach Wes Douglas nominated Johnie Wilcox. Johnie pitched all 10 innings in a 5-3 win over Shelby.
"In my 15 seasons as a coach I have never seen that here," Douglas said.
Wilcox is now 4-0 on the season.
