Elyria High Bowling paired up with Midpark on Monday. The varisty boys were able to defeat the Meteors 2,343 to 2,255.

"Our varsity boys pulled out a good one by 88 pins," head coach Nancy Henceroth said. "Some outstanding scores and clutch bowling."

Midpark made the match closer with 237 Baker game. Aaron Kilgore bowled well for the Pioneers shooting 123 pins over average and Cody Bell was 113 pins over average.

The Elyria girls were defeated by a more experienced Midpark team but Emily Henceroth bowled well with scores of 226 & 254 for 480 series and 136 pins over average.
