Brookside Bowling update
The Brookside Cardinal Bowlers took on Westlake Demons on Saturday in Greater Cleveland Interscholastic Bowling Action at Parma Freeway Lanes.
The Cardinal 5 held tough throughout the 3 game match plus 2 Baker games against the higher average Demons. While they took 5 out of 7 points in Handicap, they were only able to take 2 out of 7 in Scratch Division. Heading into the Baker head to head games, they were 36 pins down. They picked up only 2 pins in the 1st Baker game but put together a total team effort with a 221 Baker game to defeat Westlake in OHSAA action 2799-2774.

Bowling over average for the Cards were: Senior Brian King 20 pins and a 202 game; sophomore Nikki Crnko 42 pins over average; junior Taylor Stephens 54 pins over with a 222 game; and Senior Tim Krall 55 pins over average.
Next week the Cards take on Chanel at Buckeye Lanes in North Olmsted.
