Sandusky beats Huron

The Sandusky Boys defeated the Huron Tigers 2,956 to 2,485. The Blue Streaks
had regular games of 920-1,035 for a 1,955 total and a 302 pin lead heading into bakers, where they outscored the Tigers 1,001 to 832. Leading the balanced scoring for Sandusky was Senior Co-captain J.P. Vincent with 202-212 for a 414 series. Freshmen Kyle Dickman had 215-182 for 397 series. Sophomore Andrew Barnum added 395 series and Senior Co-captain Ben Dickman chipped in with 390 series & Nathan Peters added a 359 series. Leading the way for the Huron Bowlers was Austin Thorn with 197-156 for a 353 series.
The Sandusky Girls did not bowl today, due to Huron not having a Varsity Girls squad.

"A good performance for the Varsity Streaks today, after a not so impressive match against Fremont St. Joseph last Monday," head coach Bob Dickman said. "They had balanced scoring today, and bowled well in bakers also. The JV Boys won for the 3rd straight game in a close match. Our next match is this Wednesday in Fremont against Ross, a very big match in the SBABC American Division, if the weather permits."
