On Thursday several local swim records were broken.

Avon's Elliot Runge set a school record in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 57.53.

Three records were set during the Westlake-Bay meet at North Olmsted Recreation. Westlake's Joe Craven set a pool record in 100 Back with a time of 56.56. Bay's Elizabeth Auckley set school and pool records in the 100 fly and 100 back. Her fly time was 59.03 and her 100 back was 1:00.21.
